The Ridge at Back Brook in Ringoes, New Jersey hosted the Annual EZ-GO Textron Pro President Championship presented by Heritage Creations & Cutter & Buck on Wednesday, July 29. The event plays host to NJPGA Professionals around the New Jersey Section along with their distinguished guests from their club which included presidents, committee chairmen, owners, etc. The day is made for officials from clubs all around the state to come together and enjoy each other’s company as well as share ideas to help grow the game of golf at their respected facilities, while at the same time competing in the tournament.
The two-man teams teed it up on the challenging and beautiful course at the Ridge and competed in their respected divisions (Pro President or Pro Governor) in a Best Ball format. Claiming victory in the Pro Governor division with an 8-under par, 64, was host Assistant PGA Professional Travis Deibert and the owner of the Ridge at Back Brook Joel Moore. Taking the title in the Pro President Division with a match of cards over the team from Rock Spring Club was PGA Professional Scott Paris and the president of Plainfield CC Patrick O’Keefe.
