John Pak of Scotch Plains fired a three-round total of 2 under par, 214 to capture his first AJGA Open Tournament at the AJGA Annapolis Junior, held July 7-10 at Old South Country Club in Lothian, Md. Pak held the lead through all three days of the tournament and has now finished in the top 30 in 9 out of 11 AJGA career events.
Pak was joined in Maryland by fellow New Jersey junior golfer Michael Graboyes of Watchung. The Cornell commit entered the field as the highest ranked boy, 125 on the Polo Golf Rankings. Graboyes finished in 11th place.
