Bryan Dougherty (Navesink CC) and Bill Hook (Knickerbocker CC) both posted 1-under par 70’s to tie for first place at the NJPGA Open/Assistant Stroke Play Competitions at Rumson Country Club in Rumson, N.J., June 30.

The event – which offered NJPGA Player of the Year and Assistant Player of the Year points to its winners – featured two individual Stroke Play Competitions: an “Open” Division and an “Assistant” Division. Dougherty won the Assistant Stroke Play Division, as well, with his 1-under par round.
